1. GMS is a food additive used as a thickening agent,
emulsifier, anti-blocking agent and preservative; an emulsifier for oil, wax
and solvent; a protective coating for hygroscopic powder; a curing agent and
controlled release agent in drugs; and a resin lubricant. It is also used in
cosmetics and hair care products. As an emulsifier, the molecular distillation
of monoglyceride product purity can reach 95%, which is very suitable for use
as an emulsifier in ointment production, safe and efficient.
2. GMS is mainly used for baking preparation to add
"connotation" to the food. It is somehow responsible for giving the
ice cream and whipped cream a smooth texture. It is sometimes used as a
preservative in the bread. Improve the flesh structure, delay hardening, extend
the shelf life, reduce or inhibit the formation of foam in the production
process of various foods, increase the volume, improve the qualitative
structure, and extend the shelf life
3. GMS can be used as an additive in plastics, where GMS is
used as an antistatic agent and anti-fog agent. This is very common in food
packaging. With good lubrication effect, especially between the metal surface
of the forming machinery and the resin, it can improve the production of the
extrusion molding product and enhance the surface luster of the molding
product.
