Cocoyl amide propyl dimethylglycine
not only has the characteristics of no smell, light color, low salt
content, mild skin, but also has excellent wetting, dispersion,
decontamination, infiltration, antistatic, sterilization, conditioning,
thickening, calcium soap dispersion and biodegradation properties. It can be
used as cosmetics, shampoo, bath liquid components, but also can be used as the
textile uniform dyeing agent, wetting agent, soft liu, antistatic agent. As a
fungicide, the general dosage of 30 mg/L.
1. Cosmetics use
Most cosmetics use this derivative. It is relatively cheap, so it reduces overall
production costs. Coconut oil amide propybetaine is an effective foam promoter
or stabilizer, and is therefore a common ingredient in cleaning products such
as bubble bath, bath solution and shampoo. It is also used as a thickener or
antistatic agent and is a common ingredient of conditioner. It also works as
emulsifying and moisturizing, and is also commonly used in bath oil and certain
liquid cosmetics.
2, preservative effect
This compound maintains stable pH over a wide range and in most cases has
slight bactericidal and antibacterial effects. Many manufacturers use this
compound when producing toilet cleaners. In addition, it is often used as a
disinfection ingredient for facial scrub and exfoliators, which can well
prevent new acne outbreaks. The pH levels of propylene-betaine also allow it to
fuse with other cations, anionic and non-ionic surfactants, so it is also a
common ingredient in products such as hair dyes.
